A first run with the town.

4:44 finish for the 1 Km children’s dash. (Fig 1.)

She came in 16th of 72 girls in her age group overall, so a decent showing, one she can be proud of for a first ever putting. Thankfully it isn’t an incredibly hot morning here this time around, so a much more enjoyable experience. Looks like a good chunk of the town came out to the fundraiser for the Markham Stouffville hospital. Love to see it.

I no longer enjoy running all that much, not unless it’s on a machine a few steps from water and a washroom. My guts are too iffy to subject myself to running out in the open, that’s a sure fire way for me to embarrass myself beyond words. I’d gladly cycle a 10K or 25K event if I had my choice.

Yesterday was busy, I cut two lawns and went climbing. Crashed pretty hard at about 5pm. Taking it easy today though. Happy Father’s Day to all who observe.
