Only got around to going three times this month because we started off with the Markham Fair for four days, then a three day long weekend, then Halloween Haunts at Wonderland, and a Leafs game downtown and before we knew it the month was done and I’d only visited the three times. I would like to at least double that in November or aim for the full eight visits that I used to do regularly. I notice how quickly my grip fails now that we haven’t gone as much as I’d like.
I think I can remedy that with more wood splitting in November as well. With any luck we will have very cold nights, followed by chilled mornings that will keep the wasps at bay while I’m at the farm in the mornings. I don’t care if it heats up after eleven and they come awake then, but I’d rather prefer to not get swarmed a second time this calendar year.
